Below you can read more about our jury members. These jury members will make the final decision as to which brands will present their new collections at Moldovan Brands Runway during the upcoming season. Such selection is necessary to keep the choice objective as well as provide relevant feedback to applicants from global industry professionals.
Sara Sozzani Maino
CREATIVE DIRECTOR FONDAZIONE SOZZANI

She has been at the Italian Vogue for over two decades and has a penchant for scouting young design talent.

Sara Maino Sozzani collaborates with many educational institutions and serves on several boards working and creating awareness for a more responsible planet. In March 2022, Maino joined the advisory board for the Circular Fashion Summit. The summit is a a global collective action summit, supporting the United Nations Sustainable Development Goals 2030. To date, she is a Creative advisor for CNCC (Conde Nast Commercial Creative), dealing with the conception and proposition of multi-platform projects for the Condé Nast Italia brands.

Since September 2018, Sara has been the International Brand Ambassador of Camera Nazionale della Moda Italiana supporting the new generation of designers. She is also part of the Camera Fashion Trust founded in 2018, which supports Italian designers. In 2019 she launched A New Awareness a project that aims to create more awareness and consciousness in the younger generation. In 2021, Maino was named head of special projects at Vogue Italia.
Alicia Reyes Sarmiento

Alicia Reyes Sarmiento is a bilingual journalist, audiovisual communicator, and multimedia content creator currently based in Amsterdam. She is an Editor at FashionUnited, where she has written since 2021 on topics spanning fashion, culture, innovation, and the intersection of style and technology.

With a foundation in B2B journalism and creative production, Alicia bridges narrative and visuals—writing, editing video, and shaping stories across media formats. Her portfolio includes fashion editorial, reportage, and video content creation.

She focuses on curating content for Spanish- and Latin American audiences, while maintaining a global lens—covering industry trends, brand innovations, and conversations with key voices in fashion.

Lyonard Miszkiewicz
Design Director at Alexander Wang
Lyonard Miszkiewicz is a Polish-German fashion design director. He studied fashion design at the Royal Academy of Fine Arts Antwerp and went on to study textile design at Chelsea College of Arts, London. He gained early experience in the studios of Giles Deacon and Raf Simons before heading master tailor Orschel-Read in design direction and knitwear from 2010. Lyonard’s eponymous label, founded in London in 2013, featured at multiple fashion weeks and enjoyed success among peers and celebrity clients.

In 2015 Lyonard graduated from the Royal College of Art with a master’s degree in fashion design. Following his graduation, Lyonard joined Hackett London as knitwear designer before moving on to manage couture at luxury fashion house Alexander McQueen. Over five years, Lyonard became key to the creation of McQueen’s renowned special projects, featured in some of the world’s most high-profile publications and events, including the Academy Awards and Met Gala.

In 2021 Lyonard was appointed Head of Design at lifestyle brand Les Girls Les Boys by British entrepreneur Serena Rees MBE to establish a knitwear line and solidify the label’s pioneering status. Lyonard then joined Ambrita Shahani-Tuckwell’s consultancy working on projects for Fendi Couture before being headhunted to re-establish and elevate international fashion brand Esprit in the role of Global Design Director based in Amsterdam. Currently, Lyonard is living and working in New York as Design Director at industry disruptor Alexander Wang.

Alessio Cian Seren, a graduate in International Political Science and a master in Fashion Brand Management, is a professional with over 25 years of experience in fashion marketing and communication. For over 20, he has held various roles within the Italian-based international fashion group OTB (Diesel, Maison Margiela, Marni, Jil Sander, Viktor&Rolf, Amiri, Staff International and Brave Kid).

His last position within the group was OTB Head of Corporate Communication, while maintaining contemporaneously the responsibility of Staff International and Brave Kid companies as Head of Communication. For about 2 years he was also appointed as interim Chief Marketing Officer for the brand Maison Margiela in Paris.

Currently, he collaborates as Marketing & Communication Advisor for some Italian luxury brands. In Polimoda is professor and project leader for the masters in Fashion Marketing and Communication.

Visual artist | Sculptor | Lecturer | Mentor
Stella Arion is a London-based contemporary artist and fashion professional working at the intersection of art and fashion. 

She has lived and worked in London for the past 15 years and holds postgraduate degrees in both disciplines. 

With over 25 years of experience in the fashion industry, her professional practice spans runway shows, editorial work, concept development, art direction, and mentoring. In parallel, she maintains an active practice in contemporary sculpture with international exhibitions. Her work explores the dialogue between materiality, form, and fashion as a cultural system. She is currently engaged in teaching and mentoring artists and fashion practitioners.
